Lead Life Guard
Lead Guards (LG) provide assistance to and ensure the safety of residents and their families. Duties include supervising the operations of a single pool facility during shifts when the Pool Manager is not working. This position is also responsible for supporting the Aquatics Management team in the overall operations of a pool facility and staff. Lead Guards will assist the Pool Manager with the day-to-day management tasks associated with pool operations to include pool maintenance, staff rotations and direct customer relations. Lead Guards will ensure that specific criteria are met for proper and safe operation of the facility. Lead Guards will be Lifeguards and will also actively guard patrons. This is a temporary, non -exempt position during the pool season which requires working holidays, weekends and non-traditional work hours.

The successful applicant will have or possess;

  • Current Lifeguard Certification from American Red Cross or other lifeguard agency training
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, weekends and holidays.
Life Guard
Lifeguards (L) provide assistance to and ensure the safety of our residents and their families. Duties include maintaining safety around the pool through preventive guarding by enforcing rules and regulations. This position is also responsible for supervising all activity in and around the pool, maintaining the pool area, and assisting with other duties as required under the supervision of the Aquatics Program Manager. This is a temporary, non-exempt position during the pool season which requires working holidays, weekends and non-traditional work hours.

The successful applicant will have or possess;

  • Current Lifeguard Certification from American Red Cross or other lifeguard agency training.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
