About Fort Riley’s Neighborhoods
Even before construction of new homes and renovation of older homes gets underway, Fort Riley’s existing family housing areas are being combined into manageable neighborhoods. Each neighborhood has its own Neighborhood Manager and a dedicated maintenance team. The old centralized housing office concept has given way to customer-friendly neighborhood offices serving each individual neighborhood from a central location in that neighborhood.
The following Neighborhood Offices will serve the listed housing areas:
Peterson Place – O’Donnell Heights, Peterson Heights, Monteith Heights
McClellan Place – Meade Heights, Burnside Heights, McClellan Heights
Colyer Manor – Colyer Manor
Historic Main Post – Main Post
Ellis Heights – Ellis Heights
Warner Heights -- Warner Heights, South Warner
Picerne Military Housing brings strong experience in the development and management of residential property. We adapt the best commercial practices; yet pay heed to military traditions. Just as a large commercial development may have homes of various sizes and configurations reflecting economic strata, and ranging from modest town houses to more spacious single-family homes, so too will Fort Riley’s neighborhoods of the future incorporate housing for all ranks. Each neighborhood will contain sub-neighborhoods for most of five different pay-grade groups that include Junior NCOs, Senior NCOs, Sergeants Major, Company-Grade and Field Grade Officers.
As new neighborhoods are built, each will make a unique architectural statement. Exterior features of the new homes and the décor within Neighborhood Centers will define distinct themes.
